Tai stood by a tree, the mist sparkling around him as his light reflected off the water. t was quiet and peaceful, had been for hundreds of years. But he was starting to get lonely, no one ever really dared to walk through his forest. he was the protector of it. He toyed around with his powers, a mini sun glowing brightly beside him and then shot a beam of searing hot light into a dead tree. It lit up in flames and crumpled into ashes moments later. He was the sun god after all.

Roghnaíodh Don Bandia was cantering nonchalantly through the forest. Her body was a translucent color since her speed did not allow her to take on any pattern. Since she had started into the forest she had been on her usual high alert. She always was, but since she had been going along for over an hour and had yet to find another large animal, Roghna let her gaurd down. This was a rare moment for her. She almost never gave herself the freedom of being worry free. She basked in the moment and tossed her head, long wisps of mane snaking behind it.

Roghna was so happy to run freely in the dark confines of the trees. She thought that she would never stop running, until she saw a tree burst into flame a few yards ahead of her. She skidded to an almost immediate halt. Her moments of the carefree were gone. Her ears pricked and eyes scanned ahead. Instinctively she sent out a wave of reality warp. It could cover up to a hundred yards and she knew how to use it. The reality that Roghna created was one that recreated the tree bursting into flame but instead of a single tree it was hundreds of burning trees. Any animal in the area would be forced to watch multitudes of trees burn in an unending loop. Not only were the trees burning but she added a part she often added when it came to the destruction of any lifeform, a crying voice begging to be saved. All of the burning trees cried out for help but no avail.

Roghna waited for the scene to take it's effect in the area her power could hold. Then she walked through the forest of burning trees, her coat taking on the image of a tree. The trunk of the tree on her coat ran from her front hooves up her neck. Her mane was red like flame and her hind quarters mimicked in the form of a smaller tree. Roghna searched out the cuase of the destruction and her worry.

Tai looked around in bewilderment as his forest was burning around him. He gathered up his powers, summoning energy from the sun. He grew brighter. It was his job to protect this land. He stared at the many trees and then noticed something strange. Unsure, but wanting to test his idea, he bolted straight into the tree and ran clean through, no harm done. Yes, a reflection, someone was tempering with his light, creating reflection with their power. He smiled and then light disappeared. A cloud covered the sun so the forest was in darkness. the trees flickered and vanished. Tai stood tall, still glowing really brightly, like he had sucked all the light from the land and the sun. "Show yourself!"

Roghna stopped dead in her tracks as the trees of her creation disappeared. How had any one been able to do that? He coat lost it's appearance of flame covered tree. Instead it took on the shadows of the now very dark forest. Then she heard a voice to her right. Her heart pounded in her chest. She was sure that the other horse could hear it. She turned her head to be surprised. Beyond the trees to her right was a glow that was so unnatural she gasped. She walked slowly towards it. Had the sun fallen to earth? It certainly seemed like it had to Roghna as she looked at orb of light that must have held the voice. Roghna stepped out of the way of trees so that she was visible to the orb. Here I am, she said quietly. She was astounded that she had become visible so readily for the ord. It must have been due to the fact that it frightened and fascinated her all at once.

Tai swung his head around to the voice and saw the other equine. he snorted and let his light dull till he was bearable to look at. "What is your purpose here?" He questioned accusingly.

Roghna watched as the light faded to reveal a golden colored stallion. She let out a small gasp of surprise at the magic of his being. His words intimidated her and she did her best to shrink down into herself. I am sorry to have bothered you, she said, her voice growing quieter as she spoke, I was just passing through. The tree on fire had frightened me. Please forgive me. SHe looked at him with deep blue eyes.

tai flicked his ears, looking at the mare fully. "No forgive me, dear lady. I was to harsh with my words." He took a few steps closer. "I am Taiyō-shin. god and protector of this land." he bowed and fixed his gaze on the equine.

Roghna watched Taiyō-shin move closer to her and bow. She was unsure how to react to this. Her body was tense but she didn't feel like she was in danger. I am honored to meet you Taiyō-shin. she said nodding her head respectfully, I am Roghnaiodh Don Bandia. She looked at him, wishing she could shake her constant fear of other horses in the presence of this great golden stallion.

"Welcome to the Smokey Forest, Roghna, if i can call you that. and please, call me Tai, it's easier.' He laughed, his light flickering brighter. "So you are just passing through?' He asked as he started to circle her, examining her features.

Roghna was curious to the friendliness that now radiated from the stallion. Yes, I am just passing through, she said. Her eyes tracked Tai as he started to circle her. Her body became tense and she felt a need to flee. She scolded herself, thinking that if he had meant her harm he would have struck out by now. Despite her self reassurances, she couldn't help but fidgit. Her hooves danced in place as she tried to contain her anxiety.

Roghna forced her hooves to stand still and she looked at Tai. Now that he was not so close, she felt a bit more at ease being around him. I am sorry, she said, It is a habit. She felt embarrassed to have been so nervous around the stallion.

Roghna looked at Tai for a moment. She was deciding on wether or not to tell him what he asked. It tooke her only a moment to decide. I am alone. I have been for a very long time, she said with a quiet voice.

Roghna looked at Tai with curiosity glimmering in her eyes. Why would I no longer be alone, she asked, her mind swimming with the possibilities of what he might be suggesting. A flicker of desire flashed through her.
