Anna Whisner pulled up to the vet clinic, a two-horse trailer behind her pickup. She walked to the side of the trailer where a pinkish nose peaked out through a small window. Anna rubbed the nose briefly before walking into the clinic. She walked up to the counter. "Hello," she said to the white coat, "I have brought my cob for a check up." She waited patiently for a reply.



(You can give whatever diagnosis you like. )

The women with the white coat looked up, and said, pointing to a light blue door big enough to fit a horse, She's in there.

The women worked with her papers, writing down things, and answering phones. She said, Yes, come down any time. I'm sure she's fine, but I want to know for sure. Thank you, Mrs. Righte. Good-bye. She hung up the phone. She looked out the door, seeing a girl and the secretary.

Anna smiled to the secretary. "Thank you." She looked in the direction that the woman had pointed and seeing another woman in there, Anna walked to the door. "Hello," she said, "I am Anna. I have brought my cob mare for a visit." She smiled to the kind looking woman.

Lilly smiled, and said, Alright, let's see her. Any reason you came, besides a check-up? Is she limping, or something unusual?

Anna started to walk back towards the door. She looked over her shoulder. Well, she said, Cream has been acting strange lately. Her energy is lacking. What do you think it is?

Lilly thought, and said, thoughtfully, Maybe a parasite, or.. hoof problem. Has she recently had any Colic problems, or been in any competitions resulting in a small injury? (Yeah, I dunno how to be a good vetXD)

Anna thought for a moment. Hmm, she said, She has not been in a competition lately. But she has been finicky about her eating. She does not seem interested in it.

Lilly nodded, understanding. She walked to the mare, and instantly went to feel her stomach. She said, Your mare might have a form of Colic. Here, give her this, and continue to try and feed her, keep her from rolling as well. You're a horseman, you should know what to do. She handed her a few things to help with teh colic.

(What do you give a horse if they have colic? I've never really known...)

(Colic is treated by removing feed and water for a while and walk the horse frequently. Also a pain reliever/muscle relaxant is given to the horse)

Anna nodded and took the medicine the vet had given her. She looked at the bottle a moment. Thank you, she said looking at the young vet, What do I owe you?

Lily stood, and brushed off her pants, saying, Well, this will be free since I'm glad to help. Thank you, and have a good day. She smiled brightly, and turned away back into the office after brushing the mare's neck just to make sure the youngster didn't argue with the offer she proposed.

Anna wanted to refuse the offer but the woman had already stowed away in the clinic. She sighed and patted her pony. She ushered the mare into the trailer and closed it up. Then she jogged back into the clinic to at least say thanks for the kind care the vet had given.

Lilly was on the phone in a small mint green room. She was sorting papers and talking about a few mares.

Anna looked around for the youthful vet. She spotted her on the phone in a small room. She creeped closer to the room and waited for the womant to get off of the phone.

Lilly said, I'm sure Moon Shadow will be fine...yes, give my regards. By Mrs. Holand. She put the phone down, and sorted through some paperwork. She then realized Anna was there. She said, Hello, again.

Anna sheepishly smiled into the small room. Hello, she said softly. She stood in the doorway. I just could not leave without at least saying thank you. But are you sure that you do not want reparations? Anna looked curiously to the vet.

Lilly shook her head, saying kindly, I'm just glad I could help your horse. This one's "on the house." She smiled kindly, her brown eyes bright.

Anna smiled at the kind woman. Thank you, she said. She started to turn and leave but hesitated. She turned back towards the vet. Do you, um. I mean, would there be a way that I could job shadow here? Her eyes looked quizzically to the vet.
