| Shamus wanders along the path looking for any sign of water. He spots a small valley between the mountains, and in it a pond. He galloped down the path to the pond and took big gulps of the water. Once he was refreshed he began to graze, wondering if another horse would come by. |

| Bright snorted as she trotted into the mountains, She flicked her tail as she looked around for other horses, Noticing a Stallion as she reared slightly before flicking her tail, Shifting uneasy as she flicked her ears back, Bright walked forwards down the mountain as she slipped and skidded to a halt, Trying to keep balance as she snorted, 'Rocks...' She thought as she shook her head.

Cansu trotted along the rocks of the mountainous land. She was higher here than she had ever been. The cool and thin air of the height tingled in her lungs. Cansu stopped after a short bit. She was higher than the treeline and could see for miles. She looked down into the crease where the mountains met. She could see water as a pond. She could also see a few figures in the area. Cansu squinted and could make out that the figures were horses. She nickered and tossed her thin mane. She started down the mountain's edge and into the valley.
It took her a few minutes to make it down into valley. She let her instincts guide her to the water and horses. She weaved through trees and eventually she reached the thinning trees that marked the approach of water. She slowed to a careful walk. Her ears twitched in all directions, listening for the other horses. She did not know if they were friendly. Her delicate nostrils flared with deep breaths that searched for the scents of the other horses. She moved closer to the water until she could see it through the trees. Then she caught sight and scent of brown horse with a bright stripe on his face. Cansu stood and watched patiently.

| Bright snorted as she noticed another Mare, She made her way down the small bit of the mountain and trotted over, flicking her tail as she reared slightly, Nickering as she walked to the waters edge and lowered her head down to drink.

| Silver Shadow trotted lightly toward a pond. The very tall mare was scrawny, her bones sticking out everywhere. She lowered her silver and white head to swallow big gulps of water. Then, she spotted another horse. She stood still, hoping he would pass. _________________ (Birthday passed. I am now 13!:3 Youngest 8th grader....awkward........) | Cansu watched as another mare, who was scrawny, moved into the area. This made Cansu on edge. Were there more? She crept out of the trees and into open area around the watering hole. Unlike the other mares, she did not go instantly for a drink. She instead looked for the stallion, to ensure he would not attack her. |

| Shamus raised his head spoting the mares. Finally! Other horses! He thought to himself. He troted up to them neighing a quick greeting to the horses walking into the valley. He scanned over each of the other horses, wondering how they managed to get here... |

| Shamus walked up to the spotted mare. "Hello, how are you?" he nickered to the mare. Standing perfectly still, waiting for her to relpy while keeping one eye on the other horses walking into the valley. |

| "Im ok, I was a bit lonely, but that has been resolved, by the way, my name is Shamus, but you can call be Shea" he nickered. He turns his head to look at the two mares, he looks at the skinny mare, feeling sorry for her, then to the other making her way down the mountain side. |

| Cansu watched the stallion interact with one of the mares. This sparked curiosity in the red mare. She dropped her head to whiffle the grass, her eyes looking to the two. It took her only a moment to make up her mind. She lifted her head and walked over to the pair. "Hello," she said, her eyes glittering. |

| "Nice to meet you Cansu" Shamus said. He dipped his head, following Cansu's gaze towards the thin mare, he walked over to her, standing a few feet away, trying not to startle her. He couldnt help but notice how her ribs stuck out. He stood quietly, then looked back at Cansu and Bright. |
