Red Sky ran toward a small pond. He started drinking. He was too thirsty and too hungry, but there was nothing to eat, and this pond wasn't enough. He thought he heard something and his head shot up. He got in his stance if he were to be challenged. He lifted his tail, his head went up so high his neck started to ache. He looked so tall when he did this. His muscles rippled under his gleaming red bay coat. He screamed a challenge. Nothing came. He slowly walked over to the rock pile that head heard the noise from. He looked behind a boulder. Nothing. Silence is playing tricks on me... He said, and turned back to the puddle.

Rose wanders through the barren land, knowing that it is another horse's territory. As quiet as she can she walks past a stallion, missing his gaze by seconds. After pausing to make sure he didnt see her she continues to sneak past.

Dragon stood in the shadows, a breeze making all his thick hair flow. The warm day slipping through the leaves, soaking into his skin. He sighed with content. A slight noise shattered the soothing silence. He turned his head and his eyes fell upon a pretty mare, who is that he wondered.

Red Sky stood still, hearing something. He shot at the horse, his teeth bared. He said, viciously, What are you doing on my land? He wasn't afraid. He smelled yet another stallion, then realized, this wasn't a stallion. He straightened up slightly, grumbling, Sorry... He turned away, his black tail flicking in the breeze. He lifted his head, his dark brown eyes locked on the stallion. He screamed a challenge most shrill. It echoed through the barren land.

Rose watched the two stallions, "Well I guess I am not alone anymore" she thought to herself.

Red Sky glared viciously at the stallion. He screamed, Come fight me! He knew he would beat him, beat him with ease! (He's too full of himself lol)

Unsure of what will happen next, Rose steps back, not wanting to get herself into trouble.

Dragon snorted and gazed down at the stallion. "Why? I am not threatening to take your land." He shook his big head and broke into a canter down the hill. He stopped a few paces away.

Rose watches the stallion go, starting to wonder if she is no longer welcome. After a moment of thought she to canters down the hill, deciding that it is time to find a perminate place to stay. One last time she pauses, takes a drink from a near by puddle and looks at the two stallions thinking of where to go next.

Dragon flicked his ear and looked at the mare cantering away. He picked up his feet in a rear and took off after her. He needed a mare, and she was pretty. he hoped he would have to deal with the stallion later.

Rose heard another horse behind her. She can to an abrupt halt and turned to face the stallion. "Hello" she said in a almost whisper. She had'nt had another horse chase after her before.

Dragon nickered. [b]"Hello. Who are you?"[/b[] he asked softly. His thick mane now settled beside his thick neck as the wind got cut off from the valley.

I am Thorn of a Rose, but I prefer to be called Rose, she said, still almost whispering. She looked up at the stallion, glad to have someone to talk to after all the years she spent alone.

Red Sky snorted, baring his sharp teeth at the stallion. He cantered after them, his coat gleaming in the hot sun. He nipped at the stallion, making a weird growling noise. He screamed, rearing, Get off my land!! He's been cooped up inside his head too long, it's all going wrong,. He's insane, yes, he is totally bonkers, yes, but he didn't know. It would eventually take his life if he wasn't to snap from this trance soon...

Dragon whipped around. "Stay back Rose. he's losing it." His eyes turned dark and daring as he faced the on coming stallion. He built up his strength and tensed his muscle, preparing for the stallion. "I said I am not a threat to take your land! i am just passing by. If you with to make a conflict that is unnecessary, then by the heavens above, you made a big mistake with me." His voice thundered loud and strong. he bared his teeth and rear, his hooves slashing the air fiercely.

Rose steps back, watching the two stallions. Unsure of what to do, she continues backing up until she runs into the rocks near by. She lets out a small squeal of surprize but then remains quiet.

Dragon's ears flick back to her squeal, his attention breaking for a heart beat. He bared his teeth again. "What business do you have?'

He stared at the stallion, his eyes seemingly turning dark red. He bared his sharp teeth, reared and crashed his hooves down hard onto the stallions skull. He quickly slashed out with his hooves, evading to the side to bite his shoulder. He glared, snorting, "I've fought bigger, stronger stallions than you. They were faster too! You'll be no different!"

Dragon snorted, drawing up his strength. "I still could win The battles you've won mean nothing to me. I could still beat you."[ He glared

Rose stands still, pondering if she should stay or leave. She looks at both of the stallions, hoping it doesnt involve her. She looks at Dragon, not wanting to leave him behind, then at the vicious stallion that could kill her. She is not very tall or fast and has no way of protecting herself due to her lack of fighting skills all she has are memories of her time as a foal and the anger that came with it. Sighing she stays pinned against the rocks, waiting to see what happens next.
