| Fire Caller Sadly walked his new territory. He was so lonely, but no one would ever like him because he was a Fire horse. He was cheering up as the flowers lit up, and ponds lit up. Fresh grass, and water! He loved it here, besides the loveliness. |

| Wyn flew in the air of the strange territory she had come across. The entire foliage below her was swooning with a glow that she had never seen before her. Wyn dipped low to the ground, her hooves barely brushing against the grass as she went. She was so lost in watching the wonders beneath her that she nearly missed seeing another equine in the near distance. She pulled up short and dropped into the plush grass. She looked at the horse, wondering if he could be a figmant of her imagination created by the wonders of the plains. He was so very red with a contrastingly dark crown of hair. Wyn's nose twitched as she watched the being. Finally she decided to go investigate. She trotted nearer the red being with curiosity touching her eyes. |

| Fire Caller trotted through the flowers, grinning. He had never seen anything like it! He then saw another horse, adn jumped back, the chains rattling that covered his body. He snorted, pawing the ground, the grass burning beneath his hoofs. He frowned, and asked, quietly, What? Are you going to run me off like so many others have tried? _________________ (Birthday passed. I am now 13!:3 Youngest 8th grader....awkward........)  Happy Halloween my fellow Role Players! | Wyn stopped advancing towards the red being when he stopped. Her ears flicked curiously around. Why had he stopped? She nickered softly to him, hoping he would not become defensive of the land that must be his. She moved closer to him. She was meerely five feet away when she stopped her advance. "Hello," she said. She looked at the red stallion who was covered in a strange silver entanglement that somewhat reflected the glowing flowers. She tried to keep from staring but the only way to stop was to talk more to him. "I am Wyn," she said forcing her eyes to his face. |

| Fire Caller's black eyes flicked around the field, his large head following his gaze, is black mane brushing against his red neck. He said, I don't know.. I kind of..woke up in this field, then, as night fell, the flowers lit. His large black, red feathered hooves stepped lightly across the ground, cutting into teh dirt as he advanced toward a small pond, lit flowers lining the bottom. | Wyn pondered for a moment. I guess I would take an answer to either, she said, Is the water quenching? Does this field of wonder satisfy you? She turned and looked out to the expanse. As far as she knew, she was alone with the unfamiliar stallion. She felt a bit lonely. But the field seemed to have the essence as if it could never be empty or lonely. |

| Fire Caller sighed sadly, Yes, the water is quenching, the field feeds my hunger for a family. At least I know I'll never be alone when I have the stars for company, and the flowers for friends since I am such a hated soul for what I have no control over, for what I was born with, no decision of mine was involved. | Wyn's face took on a worried look. Why would someone hate you for being what was born of you, she asked. She had never heard of horses being unwanted because of the power gifted to them. Even if his power could be destructive, it could also create warmth. Wyn stepped closer. You do not have to be alone any longer, her voice was quiet. |

| Fire Caller's head rose high into the air, his black eyes scanning across the beautiful plains. His eyes fell upon the beautiful moon. He said, Sometimes, I wish I was born with the Power of the Wolves. Sometimes, I wish I was born as a normal horse, born into a normal life. Sometimes....I wish I had never been born at all. His eyes flicked back to Wyn. He hadn't heard her say the lonely comment. He said, I wasn't always red with these chains you know. I was actually born black...just like my mane and tail. Once I first used my flames, my skin turned bright red and burning hot. My eyes changed from soft brown to...this. They humans called me Spawn of Satan himself. Guess they were too religious to know my true power. They put these chains on me, and they formed into my skin. No pain at all, I just woke with them after the day they chained me to a wall. I broke free, and the rest is history. He trotted forward, his large hooves sinking into soft mud within the lit pond in front of him. The water slowly started steaming and bubbling. He lay down in it, and rolled, covering his coat with it. He stood, the water dripping from his coat. It soon evaporated, leaving him steaming. _________________ (Birthday passed. | Wyn could hardly listen to the story spoke from Fire Caller without her heart clenching painfully. Her eyes looked over his red, chained covered body. She couldn't imagine him with a solid black coat. She watched the water fade from his body, leaving him dry. Wyn smiled softly to him. You do not look like the spawn of a demon, she said, I would say that you were foal to the blazing sun. She knew words could not heal a broken soul, but they might comfort him some. |

| My story, she asked herself aloud. She took a moment to think about it. Images of her life flashed quickly through her mind. Well, I was born into a herd of well known animators. I was no one special amongst the herd. I spent my life there happily until I met a young colt with whom my heart was taken. My father held his own in the fight my beloved gave and chased him away. I followed the young stallion. I paused for a moment as an image of the young chestnut trotting away. But that was a short lived romance I held with the colt. Since we went our seperate ways, I have been a drifter. She looked shyly to see how Fire Caller would find her story. I am sorry that it is so boring and so happy. She felt bad that she had shared the story of her life that had held no pain such as his had. |

| Fire Caller thought for a second, saying quietly, When I was young, I believed in love more than most would, more than healthy! The day she came was a bright, sunny day. She was beautiful, light dapple gray with a black mane and tail. Her eyes were bluer than the sky. He looked up tot he sky to emphasis his words. He then continued, When the humans invaded my herd, I killed them all. The flames devoured our plain, killed other horses... I have much blood on my hooves you know.. He looked distanly into the sky. He then continued, She saw what I did, she saw my kin, she saw the cahins...she saw the horror of me, not the love. She attacked me, and I told her not to. it was too late, the flames devoured her... I begged her not to be dead, but... He heard his voice faltering, and tears welled in his eyes. We loved each other more than any other horse....then she saw me and ran...guess it wasn't love, huh? | Wyn listened to his story. A part of her felt the horror of what he said. That part of her begged her to flee the stallion. He was dangerous and had killed one he loved. Another, stronger part of Wyn was filled with compassion for the red stallion. She saw the pain in his face and in his tears. She wished desperately to comfort Fire Caller. She touched his neck softly with her nose. I am sorry. I have caused you to remember painful events from your past. Forgive me, she said quietly. She stepped back and looked at him. She wished that she could tell him that the mare he had loved was foolish to see him only on the outside, but Wyn was sure it would only hurt him more. |

| Fire Caller winced away as she touched his neck. His eyes squinted, and he stood still, quiet for a moment. He then said, Twas not you who brought back those memories. I had them painted upon my mind anyway. With each wretched, heaving breath they waded me down; bringing me ever deeper into the abyss that is my misery. He smiled faintly, and remembered her pretty eyes. he looked up at Wyn, his eyes connecting with hers. He blinked once, and realized how pretty they really were. _________________ (Birthday passed. You can not change it but learn from it. Don't let the sorrowful memories bind you. Find a star to light your life, Wyn said. Then she smiled an honest smile. She believed in her heart that he would one day find that star. |
