Ice followed quickly. Star raced past them all, since he was very fast, it was easy to outrun them. He caught up to Stormy and pushed on faster, excited to see the new home.

Stormy smiled as the foal challenged him. He ran along side the foal, going ever faster until he reached the clearing. Isn't it beautiful? He whispered looking at the waterfall in the far corner of the field.

Rawnie was relieved to see Stormy when he showed himself but her relief was overcome by curiosity of what he had found. She ran after him, watching the young colt rush past. She slowed to a halt near Stormy and her breath stuck in her throat. The scene before her was incredible. She sighed, 'Exquisite."

Stormy smiled at Rawnie, and said, This is where I'd want my herd to be. It's beautiful!

Ice stopped. "Beautiful." She agreed softly. Star just looked around. It was WAY better then his old home. He reared with a loud whinny and took off into their new home, giving a few bucks in excitement. Ice whickered to her self and followed at a trot.

Stormy whinnied happily trotting around the waterfall, You two can stay here as long as you want. I don't mind it at all, the more the better! His eyes sparkled.

Rawnie trotted through the grass and admired the expansive beauty around her. She grinned gleefully. She stopped her movements and dropped to the ground, rolling hapily. After rolling she sat up and shook her thick mane. Rawnie nibbled on grass near her.

Stormy trotted to an area where he saw the expanse of forest beyond him. He stood on the edge of the small cliff, and whinnied, rearing on his powerful back legs. His thick long mane flew in the breeze behind his powerful neck. He pawned the air, and dropped down back onto his four feathery legs.

Ice nickered her thanks and moved closer to the other two. Star took off at a gallop, his legs propelling him across the grass.

Stormy watched the colt lay. He snorted, lowering his head to drink water.

Ice gazed at Stormy. Just by looking at him, she knew that they would be safe.

Star put his back legs under him and did a sliding stop and spun around on the haunches and then took off towards the others, his tail and head high.

Stormy rose his head, looking around the pasture. He shook his mane, the fluffy hair falling over his head, as he lowered it to graze.

Ice turned her one ear sideways at him as she also grazed. She was still stiff though, scared of all the predators that might find this place nice as well.

Star kept running, his long thin legs sweeping over the ground with grace, power, and speed. He loved running, it was all he basically did, even when he had other foals around. He loved to race, since he knew he would probably win, since he was so fast and held a good stamina. He leaned to one side, turning on the slick grass with ease and raced along on the shore, water splashing up around him, little droplets of water glitter in the sun.

Stormy snorted. He lifted his head quickly, his ears pricked. He looked straight into the forest. He snorted, taking a defensive position in front of the 2 mares. He screamed, challenging. A stallion walked out, a grin on his face. He was a dark blood bay. Stormy said, What are you doing here? Finishing off the leader's son? I thought you were dead. His eyes blazed as he bared his teeth. Red Sky...

Red Sky said, coming closer, No, I am not dead, and, yes, I have come to finish off the leader's. Only. Son. He screamed rising up on his back legs, striking a heavy blow on Stormy's skull. Stormy returned it, almost knocking Red Sky off his hooves.

Ice reared, her legs trashing the air. She bared her teeth at the stallion and kept a safe distance away.

Star heard his mother's loud scream and galloped back. He saw the new stallion as he approached. He raised his head high and bolted as the stallion struck out. He leaped, his teeth connecting to the horse's flank.

Red Sky lunged at Star, biting deep into his leg. He turned, kicking with both his back hooves at the colt. Then turned back to Stormy. He rose, high, and dropped down, both his hooves connected to Stormy's head, making a sickening crack.

Star squealed and fell to the ground as the stallion kicked him. Ice neighed very loudly and reared up, lashing her front legs out. "How dare you!" She screamed and galloped full speed into the stallion, head butting him hard, then biting him with quick reflexes. Then she jolted away from reach. Star got up, angry blaring in his eyes. Ice herded him off.
