Stormy Nights looked curiously at the new forest land he had found. No scent of stallion, no scent of mares, no scent what-so-ever of a horse claiming their territory, ready to challenge whoever challenges their position as Superior. Storm knew he couldn't win a battle against a wild stallion, protecting his mares and land. He was too frail, too weak... too lonely. He looked around, and walked forward slowly weaving around trees and dense undergrowth. He soon saw a small meadow ahead of him. He walked into it, and sniffed the air loudly. No scent. Great! Maybe if I get a herd started one day, this will be our home!... Not likely.. He thought sadly. He saw a couple ponds on the edge of the clearing, and some nice green grass. He slowly moved over to the pond, and drank a bunch of water. He was too dehydrated. He looked up from the cool pond, and moved toward the grass. He munched down most of the grass, and slept for what felt like days. He finally had a home.

Rawnie walked in the dense forest that reminded her so much of her childhood and most of her life. She had been movig through it for two days now and had yet to meet another horse. She let the solitude give her time to remember. The color of the forest was beautiful and so like the trees she grew up in. The scent was clean and fresh, untainted by dangers. The sounds of the leaves rustling in slight breeze gusts was comforting. In her mind she could see her friends trotting down the trail ahead of her.

Rawnie sighed and then sucked in a deep breath. She stopped. Her breath had brought with it the scent of another horse. Rawnie breathed in deeply again. Testosterone tinted the scent and promised a male. No other horses seemed to be with the stallion. Rawnie creeped closer to the scent. It took her to the edge of a clearing. She peeked through the brush to see a beautiful horse in the small meadow. His coat was like her's and so was his build. Rawnie unconciously stepped out of the trees and into the meadow towards the stallion. She was in awe of the stallion.

Storm slowly regained consciousness. He slightly opened his eyes. He jumped as he saw a mare walking towards him. He quickly got to his feet, staring at the mare. She looked like him. Wow, another horse, that looks like me too! He thought silently. He puffed out his thin frame to make himself look a bit bigger. Being starved for so long didn't help very much. He walked forward a little, just enough to get out of the patch of grass he had been sleeping in. He said softly, "Hi. Um, if you don't mind me asking, what are you doing here?" His pale blue eyes examined the mare. She had a beautiful coat, mane, and tail. She looked like Storm, same build and all. He said after a long awkward pause, [b]"Been a while since I last saw another horse."

Rawnie stopped a in front of the stallion. She felt akward and worried for having intruded on the stallions land but could not make herself leave. "I am sorry. I didn't realize that there was someone else in the forest. Is this your land," she asked curiously. Rawnie looking into his beautiful blue eyes that seemed to reflect a summer's sky. She smiled softly.

"Yes, it is my land, but only recently. It's really nice here. I really like it here. What are you doing alone? Don't you have a herd?" He asked, half hoping she'd say no.

"Yes it is nice here. It reminds me of my youth," she smiled at the memory, "But, no I do not have a herd. I left mine for a simpler life." Rawnies paused and looked up to the sky. She returned her attention to the stallion, "Are you alone here or do you have a herd?"

I'm alone as well. I was kicked out of my herd for a mistake... Storm looks at his hooves. sad at the memory.

"Oh," Rawnie said. She felt sorry that she made the stallion uncomfortable. She glanced away from him. "I am sorry," she meant it both about bringing up the subject and about his being removed from his herd. She looked at him and wondered why he had been what his mistake had been.

Stormy looked awkwardly around. He was kind of uncomfortable. He looked at the mare. Did I ask what your name was? Mines Stormy Nights, but I was usually called Stormy. He smiled politely.

"Mine is Rawnie," She was glad to be away from discomforts, "Nice to meet you." Rawnie cocked her head to the side and grinned at Stormy. "So do you plan to stay alone out here in the forestry," she asked, her thick bangs falling from her forehead.

Storm smiled slightly. He replied a bit too slowly, I don't really plan on staying here alone.. I grew up not alone so I'm used to not being alone. See as how my luck has been going, I think I will be staying here alone though.. Stormy laughed a little.I'm sorry about talking so much. It's been a while since I've talked. Haha.

Rawnie giggled. "You are amusing," she said when her laughter subsided, "Well, your not really alone right now are you. And I do not mind listening to your talk." Her eyes glittered with delight.

Stormy smiled at the mare. He was glad someone liked him. He really liked this mare. He said, Well, help yourself to whatever you want, Rawnie. Nice name, by the way. He smiled, and his eyes grew a bit brighter. He was glad his lonely days were finally over.

"Thanks," Rawnie said feely good that he seemed to like her. She looked at him with mischief written on her face. "So I can help my self to whatever I want, huh," she said, "And if I want it all?"

What do you mean by all? Stormy asked, his head tilted a bit. He half wondered, half new what she meant. His big blue eyes still sparkled.

Rawnie grinned widely, "I mean all of it. Everything in this forest." Her eyes and face softened as she looked at Stormy. "Even you," she said quietly. Her head dipped with a sudden shyness. She glanced uo between her bangs to see the stalliosn reaction.

Stormy felt a warm feeling grow inside his stomach. He had been a bit shocked, and he probably showed it through his eyes. He had tried not to show emotion, but it had failed with such an intriguing mare such as Rawnie. H stepped a little closer to Rawnie, and touched her velvet soft muzzle. He tilted his head a smiled, his eyes twinkled, but he was breathless...wordless....

(OOC: It is okay) Rawnie was surprised about Stormy's reaction, but she was happy. Her heart thudded hard in her chest when he touched her muzzle with his own. She looked at his smiling face and her breath caught in her throat.

Stormy felt like he was going to faint. He was happy someone liked him! Specially a mare that looks like him! Maybe he could start a herd, a herd of his breed and coat color.

Feeling awkward about having given up feelings so quickly, Rawnie looked at the canopy of trees around herself and the stallion. "How long have you had this territory," she asked.
